Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal information Aegis Animation Studios collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what choices you have.
1. What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and to make your order. That falls into a few groups:
- Contact details you send through our contact form, such as your name, email address, phone number and your message.
- Order details, including your name, billing information, payment reference and the logo files, text and notes you upload for your project.
- Your account sign-in email, if you create an account or sign in to view your orders.
- Basic technical information that web servers record automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
2. Cookies and tracking
The site uses a small number of cookies that it needs to work, for example to keep you signed in and to remember what is in your cart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but sign-in and the cart may then stop working.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not use advertising pixels or sell visitor data to advertisers.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to reply to your messages, take and confirm payment, make and deliver your order, send order updates and support messages, keep the site secure and prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting duties.
We contact you about your orders and enquiries. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Your logo files
Logos and other files you upload are used to produce your order. We only show finished work in our portfolio if you have agreed to it. You can ask us to delete your files once the order is delivered.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host and our email provider, and only as far as they need it to do their work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
6. How long we keep it
We keep order records and related correspondence for as long as we need them to support your order, handle any follow-up questions and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements. Contact form messages are kept for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry and a reasonable time afterward. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including access controls on our systems and secure connections to the site. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection, and we ask you not to send us sensitive details that an order does not need.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete it. In some places you may have further rights under local law. To make a request, write to the email address shown on our Contact page. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will reply within a reasonable time.
9. Children
Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when our practices change. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
11. Contact
For any privacy question or request, use the email address shown on our Contact page.
Technical details we record when you send us something
When you submit a form, place an order, create an account or leave a review, we save a few technical details alongside it: your IP address, an approximate location worked out from that IP address (usually city, region and country), your browser, operating system and device type, your language setting, the page you were on and the page you came from.
We use this to spot spam and fraud, to protect orders and accounts, and to understand where our customers are so we can plan delivery times and support. The location is approximate and shows the network, not your exact address. To work it out, your IP address is sent to a third-party IP location service, which returns the location. We do not use this information for advertising and we do not sell it.
We keep these details for as long as we keep the related message, order or account, and you can ask us to delete them at any time using the contact details on our Contact page.
